TAMIU SBDC Offering QuickBooks Course Tuesday, June 18
Texas A&M International University's Small Business Development Center (TAMIU SBDC) will offer a course on Tuesday, June 18 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. for those who wish to learn how to use the QuickBooks online edition effectively.
The course will be led by a certified business advisor. Participants will learn how to use the features of the online accounting program. They will also learn how to enter sales, income, and specific daily workflow. Additionally, they will understand how to track their company’s expenses and business growth.
Software access will be available during the in-person course, along with computers, Internet access, and materials. The course costs $125 per person.
Norma Rodríguez, TAMIU SBDC director, said business owners must keep reliable records to track their business' progress.
“QuickBooks online can show you whether your business is growing, which products are selling, and what improvements you should implement,” she said, “Effective record-keeping can improve your chances of achieving business success.”
TAMIU's SBDC assists small businesses in Jim Hogg, Webb, and Zapata counties with no-cost confidential advising services, as well as low-cost to no-cost training and market research.
