Group Fitness Information and Class Descriptions
Prior Injuries or Special ConsiderationsIf you have any special considerations or prior injuries, please inform your instructor before class. This will better assist us in providing proper attention or modifications.
The Warm-UpFor your safety and fitness benefit, it is important that you attend the warm-up at the beginning of each class. If you miss this portion of the class, we will expect you to have a proper warm-up and ask that you please enter quietly and considerately.
The Cool-DownIf you absolutely must leave class early, please know that for your own protection, your heart rate should come down gradually. Also make sure you stretch all major muscle groups as this is an essential part of your fitness and helps to reduce the risk of injuries.
Most of our classes are taught to accommodate most skill levels during a class unless otherwise noted. Intensity and quantity of a given class is determined by each individual member. You can vary each class intensity by changing the size of weight you use (if class requires weight equipment) or by performing the modifications your instructor may recommend.
Questions/ConcernsTalk to your instructor if you have any questions, concerns or ideas about any class. Your feedback is important to ensure proper programming. Fitness Class Descriptions
Abs and Back:This 30 minute workout is a fun toning class designed to target the troublesome twins, abs and back. Jose Ponce
Abs Express: This beginner’s stability ball class will help strengthen the core muscles (abs, back and glutes) in 30 minutes. Frank Rotnofsky
BBT (Belly, Glutes and Thighs) Meltdown: Having trouble toning those lower body problem areas for the fall months? This class focuses on toning your core and lower extremity muscles to increase your metabolism using various body weight techniques. Sarah Herrera
Beginner’s Boot Camp: Does the thought of running give you nightmares? Are push-ups a problem? No problem! This 50 minute class is designed to gradually build your cardiovascular and muscular strength to help you stay on target! Christian Garcia
Cardio Cycle Express: Love cycling classes but you have a time crunch?!? Come jam out with Frank Rotnofsky for this 30 minute cycle routine that will blast stress and fat away. The cadence (RPM's) is light to medium resistance aerobic zone exercise. The workout emphasizes: cardiovascular training and calorie/ fat burn.
Core Buster: Join Aaron Banda in this fun-filled, non-stop cardio/toning core class. You will use body mats and stability balls to sculpt and tone those troublesome abs. Aaron Banda
Core Invasion: This class is guerilla warfare on body fat. This cardio/toning fitness workout that engages the abs non-stop and wages war on belly fat! Don’t put up with fat, wage war on it! Bobby Gonzalez
Cycle Express: Is finding time to work out an issue? Come join Ana De Hoyos and Jose Ponce for this fun cycling class. They will take you on the ride of your life in just 30 minutes.
(CTX) Cross training Express-This 30 minute body weight workout tones and shapes the body through cardio movements and fun music. Ana De Hoyos
Fitness Nutrition: Get started with a Nutritionist to learn about lifestyle changes that will bring the fruits of health and wellness. (H.Y.P.E) High IntensitY Performance Exercise: Ready for the challenge? This class is designed to create resistance and cardio training through intervals designed to produce results! Note: It is highly encouraged that you go at your own pace. Eduardo Porras
I.C.E (Intensive Conditioning Exercises): witness sculpting techniques that strengthen and condition targeted muscles. Enjoy the wide variety of resistance bands, step, yoga mats, dumbbells, padded bars, and more! Bring your water bottle, towel and calories! Jesus Gallardo

Martial Arts Fitness: An amazing workout that will help you improve focus and concentration, improve hand/eye/body coordination, and increase stamina/flexibility, all while helping you burn fat and stay in shape.-Rick Ramirez

This is a stretch workout for those who want more than just flexibility; they want to burn calories and build muscle! Power Cycle Express: This is cycling with a hard twist. Come step up to the challenge and get your cardio endurance training on the bike in 30 minutes with Frank Rotnofsky. TBC (Total Body Conditioning): (For beginners, intermediate, and advanced). Sandra Gutierrez-Wirsching offers you a class full of excitement; a different routine every time! Because we don’t want our body to get used to the “same-old-thing”, we work every muscle in our body. The class combines resistance and cardiovascular training in order to improve our endurance, strength, and overall fitness level. Sandra is committed to giving you a very productive 50 min workout, offering modifications to accommodate all levels of fitness! We know that changes don’t happen overnight, so commitment is a key element. Are you ready for the transformation?
TurboKick™: The fat-blasting, AB-defining cardio workout that is sweeping the nation’s health clubs and allows you to burn up to 1,000 calories an hour! (U.B.E) Upper Body Explosion- This class brings the fun in toning the upper body muscles: Abs, Arms, back, and chest. Join Brenda Tristan as she leads you through a fun, but tough work out designed for all fitness levels.
Upper Body Express- This fun class will tone your upper body in just 30 minutes. Join Jose Ponce in the fight for a fitter planet.
(W.O.W) Women On Weights- This fun 50 minute introductory class is designed to empower women in the weight room. During this 10 week course our personal trainer will teach you how to skillfully use equipment in the weight room and the cardio room. Who said weights were for men only? Arnold Juarez
