BIOL 2410
Principles of Environmental Sciences
Four semester hours. (F)
An introductory course with an interdisciplinary approach to reviewing the fundamental environmental principles including the concept of ecosystem, population dynamics and flow of energy and materials, and their transformations. Topics include, renewable and non-renewable resources, wastes, energy, solid wastes, control of weeds and pests, environment and human health and anthropogenic effects on the environment. Required for Environmental Science majors. Prerequisite: BIOL 1406 or permission of instructor. Lab fee: $25.00. (Cross-listed with ENSC 2410)
