MASTER OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION

 
 
The Master of Public Administration Degree (MPA) is open to all students who hold any baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution and meet the requirements of the College of Arts and Sciences for graduate admission.  No leveling courses are required other than those necessary to pass the language proficiency test for the International Track.
 
The MPA degree consists of thirty hours of the core curriculum, three hours of internship or administrative project, and nine hours of electives.  The student may choose one of three tracks offered.  They are: Generalist Track, International Track, and Criminal Justice Track and School Leadership Track. Students pursuing the Master of Public Administration as an additional Master's degree, may obtain the degree upon successful completion of the major curriculum and substituting hours attained in the first masters program for nine hours of electives.

III. Generalist Track
Any three courses chosen from those listed in the Criminal Justice Track
and the International Track above or from the following:
