This course is a survey of principles and concepts of international political economy. Topics include: (1) the western systems with emphasis on relationships that influence intra-system trade; (2) the north-south (including regional economic groups); (3) the East-West system with emphasis on trading practices and trade policies; and (4) the new international economic order and its role in the field of inernational political economy. |
