Theories and Applications of Learning |
Three semester hours |
This course focuses on models of academic success founded on an understanding of learning theories from the fields of education and psychology and the application of those theories throughout the semester. Through a combination of individual academic advising and guided application of learning strategies, students will internalize the cognitive, meta-cognitive, and affective skills necessary to achieve academic success. Prerequisite: General admission. |
