Three semester hours. |
The study of how theories are formulated in social science. Overview of classical and contemporary sociological theories including functionalism, conflict theory, symbolic interactionism, phenomenology and postmodern theory. Prerequisites: SOCI 1301, and three hours of any Sociology course for a total of six credit hours in Sociology. (Formerly SOCI 4301) |
