Health Issues of Diverse Populations. |
Three semester hours. |
This course addresses factors that influence the excess morbidity and mortality of minority populations. Issues that will be addressed include an understanding of a culture's influence on the adaptation of health practices, as well as health indicators for diverse populations in Texas. Prerequisites: EDHW 3340, admission to the College of Educatio and 2.7 overall grade point average. (May be taken concurrently with EDHW 3340.) |
