ARTS 1316 (ARTS 1316)
Drawing I.
Three semester hours.
An introduction to basic drawing skills and rendering: focus will be on black and white drawing media, both dry and wash. Observational drawing of various types will provide the focus for renderings in this course. Value structure, line qualities, gesture, light logic, proportion, foreshortening, and perspective will represent some of the skills to be addressed. This class meets five hours a week.. Prerequisite: ARTS 1311 recommended.
