Trends and Issues in Early Childhood Education
Three semester hours.
This course provides a critical examination of current issues affecting the education and development of young children with a goal of fostering students’ global perspectives on early childhood education. The topics will include contemporary models of early childhood education, political, education, and economic policies that shape practices in early childhood education, etc. Prerequisites: PSYC 2314; admitted to and in good standing in the College of Education.
