ENGL 4342
The Bible as Literature.
Three semester hours.
An in-depth literary study of the Bible, with emphasis on the formal features of narrative, hymn, prophecy, apocalypse, gospel, and epistle. Historical, cultural, and archaeological considerations are included. Prerequisite: Three hours of one 3000-level ENGL course with a āCā or better or consent of instructor.
