Counseling Services
The Office of Student Counseling Services (SCS) provides short-term individual counseling, couples counseling, group sessions, consultations for students, faculty and staff referrals, and self-help pamphlets on various wellness topics to facilitate students’ transitions and challenges during their university life.
As a TAMIU student, you have access to counseling services without additional charge.

Relaxation Chair
Update: The relaxation chair is available in our lobby.
The relaxation chair is equipped with a massage chair and relaxation guides to help out in creating a relaxing environment. It is available to all TAMIU Students providing a quite and peaceful time as part of their self-care.
Students will need to sign up and present a TAMIU photo ID. This service is available on a walk-in basis and only one person is allowed at a time.
