With extensive experience in teaching and research, he is passionate about integrating innovative technologies like Microsoft Loop to enhance collaborative learning and critical thinking in higher education. Dr. Cynthia Gallardo - Cynthia Gallardo is an Assistant Professor of Educational Administration in the College of Education. She is looking forward to sharing technologies stimulating technologies that enhance courses and help with student success. Mr. William Crowell - William Crowell is an instructional librarian and instructional designer with over a decade of classroom experience. In addition to his MLIS, William holds a Masters in Media Theory and Research from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. Dr. Heriberto Godina - Heriberto Godina is an Assistant Professor of Curriculum & Instruction at TAMIU. I specialize in literacy instruction for culturally and linguistically diverse students. His work embraces literacy as a critical pathway for upward social mobility. Mr. Daniel Gonzalez - Daniel Gonzalez has been a lecturer at TAMIU in Laredo, Texas, since 2018, teaching students from freshmen to juniors. Passionate about preparing students for the 21st Century, Mr. Gonzalez integrates active learning principles and career readiness strategies to create an engaging, real-world-focused classroom environment. Outside of teaching, He enjoys playing competitive trading card games with his wife, exploring audiobooks, and designing systems to help organizations run more efficiently—interests that reflect a love of learning, creativity, and problem-solving. Dr. Yong Chen - Yong Chen is an Associate Professor of Management of Information Systems at A. R. Sanchez, Jr. School of Business. His current research interests are in the areas of Internet of Things (IoT), big data, social media, mobile payment, and E-business. His research has appeared in journals such as Enterprise Information Systems, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Information Systems Frontiers, and Internet Research. Dr. Chen is a member of the Association for Information Systems (AIS), Decision Science Institute (DSI), and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). Dr. Anyanwu is a recipient of the Texas A&M University System Chancellor’s Academy of Teacher Educators (CATE) for the 2024-2025 in recognition of work on Mixed Reality Simulations to prepare for future teachers. Dr. Puneet Gill - Puneet Gill is an Associate Professor in the College of Education at TAMIU. Dr. Gill earned her Ph.D. in Instructional Leadership with a focus in Social and Cultural Foundations of Education from the University of Alabama. Dr. Gill is a former pre-k, middle, and high school classroom science teacher. She has taught a variety of introductory level courses and graduate level courses in the College of Education including introduction to teaching, foundations of education, elementary science methods course, and an assessment methods course at the undergraduate level. She works with communities to deliver service learning events, STEM-based events at elementary schools, boys and girls clubs, and other community-based settings. Ms. Clarissa Garcia, MSN, RN - Clarissa Garcia is a Clinical Assistant Professor specializing in women's health with extensive experience as a bedside clinician, currently serves in the nursing department focusing on the use of iVRS in the simulation lab in the Childbearing & Women's Health Nursing course.
