TAMIU Spring Semester Late Registration Closes Friday, TAMIU CARES Funding Available

There’s still time for students to register for the Spring Semester at Texas A&M International University (TAMIU). Late registration continues through Friday, Jan. 29.  Classes began  this Monday.

Registered students may qualify for TAMIU CARES  emergency grants. This semester, TAMIU has added $3 million from existing TAMIU CARES funding and anticipated funding from the Coronavirus Relief Response Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSAA). Find out more at https://www.tamiu.edu/cares/

TAMIU offers 95+ undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degree programs. A catalog containing a list of degree programs can be found at: http://catalog.tamiu.edu/appendix-b-degrees/ 

Students in need of financial assistance can visit the University’s Office of Financial Aid to explore their options through grants, loans, and student employment. Installment payment plans and emergency loans are also available.

Textbook purchases can be made at the University’s bookstore, located in the Senator Judith Zaffirini Student Success Center 115, or online at https://www.bkstr.com/texasaminternationalstore.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic and in order to keep the community healthy, reduce exposures to COVID-19 and slow the virus spread, all TAMIU students are required to complete COVID-19 Training prior to returning to campus. It can be found at https://elearning.tamiu.edu

All University offices and the Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library are open and providing all services. Masks are required and social distancing is practiced on campus. More about the University’s COVID-19 response is available from its online  COVID-19 Response Center.
