Administrative Program Success Student Success v Student loan default rate is 8.9% which is among the lowest in Texas. v Implemented Scheduler and Ad-Astra which will facilitate better scheduling of classes. v Received President’s Award for Community Engagement again. Our students donate thousands of hours in community service v Recruited over 1,200 freshman for Fall of 2017. This Fall will surpass that number. v Success of Discover TAMIU and the Mariachi Festival- bringing the Community to TAMIU. v 23% of entering class were in the Top 10% of HS Class. Ranks us 2 nd behind TAMU.
