Our Mission and Purpose
The mission of the Faculty Senate of Texas A&M International University is to foster a community of mutual respect and cooperation within the University, working to ensure effective communication and collaboration between faculty and administration. The Faculty Senate is empowered to act as the representative and resolving authority of the faculty, and it facilitates faculty participation in shared governance which includes making recommendations to the President and the Provost in matters that concern faculty.
