New TAMIU Scholarship EndowmentThe family of Lupita Ramirez and the Villa San Agustin de Laredo Genealogical Society (VSALGS) has established a $25,000 Scholarship Endowment in her honor at Texas A&M International University. 9th Annual Las Posadas
|
Texas A&M International University Ballet Folklórico dancers perform a traditional dance from Zacatecas, México during Las Posadas. This is the 9th year the TAMIU Ballet Folklórico presents Las Posadas. This year’s event takes place on Saturday, Dec. 2 at 7 p.m. at TAMIU’s Center for the Fine and Performing Arts. Admission is free. |
Take part in the ageless tale of Las Posadas Dec. 2 at 7 p.m. at the Texas A&M International University Center for the Fine and Performing Arts.
This event is free and open to the public and presented by the TAMIU Ballet Folklórico. Families are encouraged to come and bring their children.
Let the sounds of Guitarras de Navidad start the transition to the holiday season. The fifth annual Christmas guitar concert will be held at the Texas A&M International University Center for the Fine and Performing Arts Recital Hall, Wednesday, Dec. 7 at 7:30 p.m.
This event, sponsored by TAMIU, the Women's City Club and the County of Webb, is free and open to the public.
