structional Technology and Distance
Education serves as ex-officio and
acts as co-chair with the member
appointed by the Faculty Senate.
The DEITC was created to review
and recommend procedures for
online course development, quality
standards, and evaluation mecha-
nisms. This committee was created
in January 2011 and since then has
adopted guidelines for quality in
online and hybrid courses based
on the Quality Matters Rubric as
well as guidelines for accessibility
compliance. If you have a concern
and would like to bring it up at one
of our meetings, please contact your
College representative. Meetings
are held on the last Monday of
the month (except during Summer
months).
