🪩 Disco Duck Edition
There’s no ducking the numbers… we made history this Spring 2025 with a historic enrollment – the largest EVER in the history of Texas A&M International University.
In celebration of this tremendous feat, we filled our Acequia Fountain with thousands of TAMIU-branded, sparkling silver rubber duckies! Join us Wednesday, April 16, 11 a.m. at the Breezeway to celebrate this special moment.
Lucky, Lucky Rubber Duckies Across Campus
Leading up to our celebration, we've hidden rubber ducks across campus. Check our "webbed-site" and our University's social media accounts for daily updates and your chance to find your very own TAMIU-branded duck!

The Strength of Ducks
Much like flocks of ducks waddle together through ponds and grassy lawns, our Dustdevils take great pride in the shared bonds we create. From time spent in classrooms and lecture halls to being part of the 100+ student organizations available on campus, and to the miles traveled through our many study abroad programs, our commitment to each other and our University is steadfast.
We're a lot like ducks, Dustdevils. We remain calm and steady amid project deadlines, exams, the busyness of student life, and life in general… paddling along to stay the course. But always remember: behind every duck is another duck - another student paddling behind you, another faculty member encouraging you toward your goals, and hundreds of University staff members ready to support you on your journey toward that final, momentous occasion… graduation. We’re grateful you're part of the largest Spring semester class in TAMIU's history – Con-quack-ulations!
