TAMIU Posts Holiday Closure Schedule

Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) offices will close and classes be suspended at noon Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2023 and remain closed for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

Offices reopen and classes and services resume Monday, Nov 27. The Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library will be open until 12 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 22 and will be closed thereafter. The Library will reopen at 7:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 27. See Killam Library hours here.

The Rec Center will be open from 7 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, Nov. 22 and close for the remainder of the holiday weekend. It will resume regular hours, reopening at 6 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 27.

In the event of an emergency, please contact University Police at 956.326.2100.

On Thursday, Nov. 30, the University will host its Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony from 6 to 8 p.m. on the front lawn of the Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library. The event includes elementary and middle school music performances, festive holiday treats, photo locations, and a holiday market. The annual celebration is free and open to the public.

Late Registration begins Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2024, and ends Monday, Jan. 22, 2024.  Spring Semester 2024 classes begin Jan. 16, 2024.
