TAMIU Events Schedules Expo 2024 Showcasing Services Aug. 1
Texas A&M International University’s (TAMIU) 300-acre campus is home to students and faculty from around the world and has programs that change the future daily...but the campus is also home to superior conference facilities, meeting spaces, reception areas, and food and hospitality services.
TAMIU’s Office of Community Relations and Special Events is hoping to share TAMIU’s potential as a destination for conferences, meetings, and special events at a free Events Expo 2024 on Thursday, Aug. 1 from 1 - 5 p.m. in the Student Center Ballroom on campus.
Admission is free of charge, but RSVPs are requested by Monday, July 29 to either events@tamiu.edu or by calling 956.326.4636.
TAMIU director of the Office of Community Relations and Special Events Enrique Botello said the community might be surprised by the spectrum of services available to host events at the University.
“While most are familiar with how beautiful the campus is and how remarkable our facilities and study programs are, they might be surprised to find out that TAMIU can host conferences, special events, and meetings...and has done so for years. With the Events Expo 2024 we’re hoping to provide a chance for the community to learn about what we’re able to provide for our clients. We’ve hosted everything from Comic-Con and business conferences to roundtable discussions, public forums, quiceañeras, weddings, and more, and in addition to hospitality, we can provide security and tech support,” Botello explained.
Visitors to the no-cost Events Expo 2024 can enjoy beverages, food, fun, and music while they learn about TAMIU’s capacity, hospitality, resources, and services.
“We think our Events Expo 2024 guests will be impressed with what’s possible and the service and resources they can expect at TAMIU,” Botello concluded.

Fall 2024 Registration at TAMIU is now underway.
The first day of classes for the Fall 2024 semester is Monday, Aug. 26, 2024.
