1,813 TAMIU Students to be Recognized for On-Time Degree Completion Thursday
Some 1,813 students will be honored for their on-time degree completion during Texas A&M International University’s (TAMIU) Student Success Wall Ceremony Thursday, Nov. 14 at 3 p.m. in the Student Center Rotunda.
Temporary display panels will be viewable at the STC Rotunda for one week. The permanent, 18-foot display, “Four Years, Many Futures,” located on the second floor of the Senator Judith Zaffirini Student Success Center, will be viewable starting Monday, Nov. 25.
Now in its 13th year, TAMIU’s University College (UC) recognizes students’ accomplishments and commitment in maintaining a four-year track as a sophomore, junior or senior at TAMIU. It also serves as a visual indicator and endorsement of students’ progress.
This year, the names of 439 sophomores, 624 juniors, and 750 seniors will be added to the permanent display.
UC aims to empower students to become competent, resilient, and self-determined life-long learners. Utilizing collaborative academic and support programs, including its Academic Center for Excellence, which offers tutoring and support services for all enrolled students, a robust First-Year Experience Program, the University’s Reading the Globe initiative and a bachelor’s degree in Multidisciplinary Studies.

Registration for TAMIU’s Wintermester and Spring 2025 courses is underway online via Uconnect.
TAMIU Spring 2025 classes begin Jan. 21, 2025. Late registration begins Jan. 21 at 8 a.m. and continues through Monday, Jan. 27 at 11:59 p.m.
