Trailblazer Image

Good Morning Dustdevils,

I am pleased to share today’s TAMIU Trailblazer Weekly Bulletin Monday, Nov. 17, 2025.

As the Fall semester draws to a close, the promise of cherished moments with family and friends during the Thanksgiving holiday builds anticipation.

  • We welcomed the Bard back to campus as part of last week’s Shakespeare Mini Fest. We hope you enjoyed your time during performances by the Texas Shakespeare Festival Roadshow, or at the lecture and film screening of the classic 90s film, “Romeo + Juliet.” Our thanks to TAMIU College of Arts and Sciences and assistant professor of English Dr. Kaitlyn M. Chacon for spearheading the Mini Fest.
  •
  • Last week, we also celebrated International Education Week. The week’s events kicked off with a proclamation and continued with a series of international-themed events, including a cultural festival, a movie screening, a sushi workshop, Passport Day, and several info sessions on different study abroad topics. Here’s a gallery of  events. We hope you’ll consider taking part in a study abroad experience and encourage you to learn more about our international identity at www.tamiu.edu/international.

    This Week:

Afterwards, children and their families are encouraged to visit and take photos with Santa. Food and games will also be available. Admission is open to the public. View a highlight reel of last year’s Tree Lighting here.
