Peer Mentors
Get to know your peer mentors! Peer Mentors are an integral part of the First-Year Experience by helping you transition to university life! Peer mentors are upperclassmen that have experienced college life and acclimated to TAMIU. Mentors help enhance your learning experience by acclimating you to campus life and develop academic and personal skills, provide you campus resources, and being a friendly face to help you if you have problems. Take advantage of your mentor meetings, learn about campus resources, and have fun!
You will meet with your mentor throughout your UNIV 1201 and UNIV 1302 courses. Attendance and participation in mentor meetings is vital in both UNIV courses.
