Reading the Globe: Go Beyond activities aim to provide UNIV 1201 students an opportunity to explore topics related to the Common Read! We will host lectures, mindfulness meditation sessions, origami how-to-lessons, among others as we get ready to welcome the Common Read Author.

Scholarship opportunity

You will be provided with a Reading the Globe: Go Beyond Passport in your UNIV 1201 Blackboard course content. Students who attend 5 or more events are eligible to enter a raffle for a scholarship!

Requirements:

• Print Go Beyond Passport and take it with you to the Go Beyond sessions.
• At the end of each session, you will receive a stamp by a University College faculty or staff.
• Attend at least five RTG: Go Beyond sessions for an opportunity to win a $200 Scholarship (one winner)
• Attend at least 3 or more RTG: Go Beyond sessions for an opportunity to win TAMIU goodies (30 winners)
• Submit your stamped passport as a picture or scan via email to readingtheglobe@tamiu.edu by Monday, October 16, 2023 by 11:59 p.m.
